Pulse-Based Snacks: Healthier Snacks for the Future
16 June 2026How Did We Create the Flavor? Tastes Inspired by Nature
17 June 2026When developing Earth's Favor, we didn’t simply want to create another chip. There were already plenty of snack options on store shelves. What we were looking for was a product that people could enjoy eating while also feeling confident and proud of its ingredients.
That’s why we started with the raw materials.
- Lentils and peas → naturally contain protein and dietary fiber.
- Pea protein → helps increase the product’s protein content.
- Psyllium husk → rich in soluble fiber.
- Quinoa → contains protein, fiber, and various minerals.
- Rice → helps provide a light texture, crispiness, and the pleasant mouthfeel consumers expect from extruded snacks.
After extensive research and countless trials, our journey led us to pulses. Lentils, chickpeas, and peas have been part of traditional diets for centuries and are among nature’s most valuable foods. Their high protein and fiber content immediately caught our attention. But what impressed us most was not only their nutritional value.
Pulses are good for the soil, too.
Thanks to the naturally occurring bacteria living in their root systems, pulses help enrich the soil, reduce the need for synthetic fertilizers, and generally have a lower environmental impact compared to many other agricultural crops. In other words, they support not only the people who consume them, but also the land where they are grown.
This idea lies at the heart of Earth’s Favor: giving back to nature with the same respect with which we receive from it.
Today, the reason pulses are at the center of our products is not only their great taste or nutritional benefits. We believe that every crunchy bite represents a more conscious approach to food.
Because, in our view, a good snack should do more than satisfy hunger—it should tell a better story, from the soil where it is grown to the moment it is enjoyed.
That is why the Earth’s Favor story began with pulses.
