Garlic Powder

Garlic powder is obtained by drying fresh garlic and grinding it into a fine powder. Although it is in powdered form, its source is very simple: garlic. During the drying process, most of the water is removed, while the aroma compounds responsible for garlic's characteristic flavor are largely preserved. As a result, the natural garlic flavor becomes more concentrated and more practical to use.

The main reason we use garlic powder in our legume-based snacks is to provide the product with a rich and balanced flavor. Garlic complements the natural flavors of legumes, creates a flavor profile that harmonizes with the spices, and gives the product a distinctive yet balanced character. Especially when used together with onion powder, it contributes to a fuller and more well-rounded flavor perception.

In addition, garlic powder blends easily with dry seasoning mixes and adheres evenly to the surface of extruded snacks. This ensures a consistent flavor intensity in every bite, providing a more uniform eating experience.

In short, we use garlic powder not to increase the nutritional value of the product, but to bring natural garlic flavor into the product, enrich the aroma profile, and provide a more enjoyable eating experience.
